The Office of Sustainability at Ajman University Organizes a Mangrove Planting and Clean-Up Initiative at Al Zorah Golf Club

The Office of Sustainability at Ajman University organized an initiative for planting mangrove trees and a clean-up campaign at Al Zorah Golf Club, aimed at raising environmental awareness and encouraging active participation in preserving biodiversity. This initiative is part of the office's efforts to support environmental and community values, motivating individuals to engage in activities that contribute to protecting the environment and preserving marine ecosystems. 

Around 25 volunteers, including Ajman University members and students, took part in the event, working together on various environmental activities and reflecting their commitment to protecting the environment.  

The initiative included planting mangrove trees, a crucial step in enhancing this vital ecosystem that plays an essential role in coastal protection and maintaining biodiversity in the region. Additionally, the initiative involved organizing various volunteer activities, including collecting plastic waste and other pollutants that threaten marine life, aiming to reduce plastic pollution, which significantly impacts the marine environment. 

This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for active participation in protecting the environment from pollution and promoting the sustainability of marine ecosystems. Through these voluntary activities, the Office of Sustainability at Ajman University seeks to build a more sustainable environment, contributing to the community's responsibility toward future generations. The initiative also highlights the importance of collaborative efforts among community members to address environmental issues and work toward practical, sustainable solutions to the challenges we face today.
