The Office of Sustainability at Ajman University Celebrates "Urban October" with a Campaign on "Youth and Sustainable Cities"

The Office of Sustainability at Ajman University celebrated "Urban October," dedicated to raising awareness about urban sustainability, by launching a campaign focusing on "Youth and Sustainable Cities." This campaign aligns with the global call to address critical challenges such as climate change and social justice through the development of sustainable cities. 

The key messages of the campaign included the urgent need for sustainable urban development, the role of youth in driving innovative solutions for sustainable cities, and the importance of education in fostering a sustainable mindset among future generations. 

In addition, the College of Architecture, Art, and Design played a key role in promoting the campaign's messages by highlighting the outstanding work done by the college in the field of sustainability, including the contributions of students and faculty members. The campaign featured several initiatives that contributed to raising awareness about sustainability, including social media posts and videos spotlighting prominent individuals in this field. 

Virtual seminars were also organized, addressing key topics related to sustainability and the role of youth in driving this movement. Additionally, a campus discussion was organized focusing on the main messages of the campaign and the importance of student and University community engagement. These initiatives helped motivate students to actively participate in achieving urban sustainability and spread the culture of sustainability within their academic and community environments.
